Latino Service Providers is happy to share the resources available to our senior community. We acknowledge that older generations are in need of assistance, and help. To better care for our community LSP has learned about many senior resources that are available at a very low cost. To protect our seniors we created this resource section. We hope to continue growing this list over the next couple of years.

Adult Protective Services
Many older and dependent adults in Sonoma County suffer from emotional, physical, financial or sexual abuse and neglect. Community members can prevent or stop the harm and help vulnerable adults by reporting their concerns to Adult Protective Services (APS). Reporting to the hotline allows APS professionals to investigate and provide help and services to keep older adults safe and well.

In- Home Supportive Services
Sonoma County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) provides in-home care to low income elderly and disabled individuals in order to remain safely and independently in their homes.

Linkages
Linkages is available to frail seniors and adults with disabilities aged 60 and older who are at risk of being placed in a skilled nursing facility or other institutional setting. Linkages care managers provide case management services as well as information and assistance services that connect clients with available community resources to assist them to remain safely at home and independent in the community.

The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Their mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as they meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Every program they offer is rooted in our passion to serve God by serving the lost, the vulnerable, the needy, the poor, the hurting, the helpless, and the hopeless. Council on Aging
Aims to enhance the quality of life for the aging community by providing services that promote well-being and maintain independence. Sonoma County is the home of 99,000 seniors over the age of 60.
