Student of the Quarter Program:

The Student of the Quarter Program seeks to highlight and reward students for their community involvement. We are looking for students in the 10th and 11 th grades who are making positive contributions to their communities in ways both large and small, but who might not be recognized for their achievements. LSP will highlight selected students who will receive a scholarship from LSP for post secondary education expenses. As a valuable youth member of our community, we encourage you to submit an application using the form below!

Youth Art and Writing Showcase:

In order to promote art and writing among the future leaders of Sonoma County, Latino Service Providers is proud to highlight and recognize the artwork and writing of talented local youth through the Youth Art and Writing Showcase. Winners will be selected on a monthly basis and will receive a prize and their work will be showcased by LSP throughout the county! Please visit the link below to submit your work today!

Have you thought about the CSU Long Beach, Distance Education MSW Program.

 

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2016 admission. The application deadline is January 15, 2016.

 

Here are some instructions to assist you in the application process should you decide to apply to our Distance Education MSW Program for fall 2016:

·         You must first apply to the University (CSULB) online via CSU Mentor (www.csumentor.edu). Attached are screen shots to assist you with those sections of the application (NOTE: the attachment just shows the initial steps and not the entire online application process). Please pay close attention to Step 7 of the attachment and make sure to select the following options:

  • For “Campus/Program”: select Long Beach campus
  • For “Intended Major”: select “Social Work – Distance Learning”

·         There is a $55 application fee that must be paid to University Enrollment Services.

·         You must request official transcripts from each college/university you attended and have them sent to University Enrollment Services (mailing address:Enrollment Services/Admissions, CSU Long Beach, 1250 Bellflower Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90840-0601).

·         You will receive a confirmation email from University Enrollment Services 2-3 weeks after you submit the complete online application. This email will include your 9-digit campus ID# that will need to be filled in on your MSW Admission Application.

·         You must submit a complete MSW application packet to the School of Social Work by the deadline. Complete instructions (“MSW Application Guidelines”) are available from our website for your reference:  http://web.csulb.edu/colleges/chhs/departments/social-work/master-of-social-work/ .  
Remember to indicate on the outside of your packet envelope that you are applying to the “Distance Education MSW Program.” The mailing address for the MSW applicant packet is as follows:
